Yard Assistant

NAL Plant Ltd is looking to recruit a Yard Assistant to join our busy family business.

We are based in Bolsover, Derbyshire. S44 6XF

In this role you will be expected to work full time and occasionally Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Loading and unloading customers and staff
• Preparing orders for deliveries including bagging of aggregates
• Providing customer service
• Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
• Checking stock

Qualifications and skills:

• Qualifications not essential
• Good customer service skills
• Able to work as part of a close knit team
• Willingness to learn
• Positive attitude
• Hard working
• Driving license preferred but not essential
• Aggregates and building materials knowledge beneficial but not essential
• Interest in construction

Opportunities:

• Training will/can be provided
• Opportunity to learn to use machinery, including forklift and loading shovel
• Opportunity to go out and support site work

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 4.30pm
• Optional Saturdays 7.30am – 12.00pm
